Your dish is good. Its film has to make people hungry.
We shoot food the way it is felt: the steam rising, the knife going in, the texture up close and the right timing for every move.
What usually goes wrong
Shooting food is a speciality. The wrong camera ruins the right dish.
What usually goes wrong
The food looks great on the table and dull on screen.
The light flattened the texture and killed the shine.
The plate arrived cold on set and wilted before the first take.
Everything was shot horizontal, and delivery needs vertical.
The cut is too fast to let anyone get hungry.
A full shoot day produced three videos.
Our repertoire for food
Cinematography and kitchen working side by side, on the same set.
Our repertoire for food
- 01
Light that builds texture
Raking light and controlled contrast so the eye reads crunch, moisture and doneness.
- 02
Recipe rhythm
Shots long enough to build appetite, cut to the timing of the hands doing the cooking.
- 03
Food on cue
We work with the plate straight out of the kitchen and a backup waiting, because food has a clock.
- 04
Vertical from the start
The frame is composed for 9:16 from the outset, not cropped afterwards in a hurry.

Restaurants, patisserie, delivery and food brands.

From menu to film
Half the result is decided before the camera rolls, together with the kitchen.
From menu to film
01 · Reading the menu
We pick the dishes that film best and define what each one has to communicate.
02 · Lining up the kitchen
We agree the running order, how many replicas to prep and the exact state of every dish.
03 · Shoot day
Block shooting, dish by dish, with the food leaving the kitchen on the take.
04 · Edit and colour
Cut at the pace of appetite, colour true to the food, delivery in every format.
Frequently asked
Frequently asked
Yes, and that is the usual choice. We shoot outside service hours so the room keeps running, or in a studio when the light has to be fully controlled.
Six to twelve, depending on how complex the prep is and how many formats each one needs.
Not always. For a lot of work the chef handles it with our direction. On bigger campaigns we bring one in.
Two to three. Hot food loses its peak fast, and having the next one ready saves set time.
That is one of the main uses. We ship vertical, square and horizontal, with and without titles, in the format each app asks for.
